This Festival celebrates the Welsh culture America in honor of Elizabeth Jones, the mother of our 5th President, James Monroe.
Headlining Welsh traditional music performers include Iona, Moch Pryderi and Jodee James with DragonFyre.
Welsh Folk Dancing will be performed with audience participation.
Other Welsh cultural features include talks on Welsh musical instruments, Rugby, Welsh Language, Genealogy, Storytelling.
Our festival is very family friendly, children’s activities include street chalking and face painting.
There will be a Welsh Market with a variety of Celtic related vendors and information tables, and Red Dragon Brewery will be making a presence for the first time.
The Fredericksburg Welsh Festival is presented by the Welsh Society of Fredericksburg and The James Monroe Museum.
A donation of $5.00 for adults and $1.00 for Children is requested to support the festival.
This event is partially supported by funding from the Virginia Commission for the Arts.

PTCS will be attending this event.
